Abstract

A process for adjusting double eccentricity of the punch of a shaping machine, which comprises the following steps: (1) wrapping the punch in a clamp seat which is movable in a housing space on the punch mechanism of the shaping machine; (2) constantly lifting the clamp seat upwards by either a hydraulic lifting mechanism or an elastic element which are coexisting; (3) forming two corresponding inclined planes on the top of the clamp seat, installing a wedge mechanism on the position where the inclined planes are installed in which the wedge mechanism is movable by lifting the clamp seat through the inclined planes; coordinating with each of the previous adjustment steps, under the conditions where the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic lifting mechanism in step (2) is released and the elastic element is lifting the clamp seat, carrying out one of the following steps: (a) extending inwards the two wedge mechanisms in the same direction to drive the clamp seat wrapping the punch linearly downward; (b) protruding outwards the two wedge mechanisms in the same direction so that the clamp seat is lifted linearly upward by the elastic element; (c) adjusting the two wedge mechanisms to inward and outward--two opposite directions--so that the clamp seat can move horizontally and laterally under a condition where the elastic element is maintained at a predetermined height; and after the clamp seat has been positioned correctly, hydraulically lifting the hydraulic lifting mechanism in order to fix the clamp seat.
