Abstract

A kind of window frame moving method which is used to move the window frame by a pointing device. The window frame is shown on the computer monitor. The pointing device includes a two-dimensional control button which can be controlled by fingers to input the moving signal and a cursor control mechanism to generate the cursor control signal so as to control the movement of the cursor shown on the monitor. The computer contains a window software for controlling the window frame and cursor display. The window software includes a window frame control module which is used to move the window frame according to the moving signal and a cursor control module which is used to control the movement of cursor according to control signal of the cursor. The method includes the following steps: a. initialize the window frame control module in order to receive the two-dimensional moving signal generated by the control button of the pointing device; b. the user moves the control button toward certain direction to generate plural moving signals; c. employ the window frame control module to receive the moving signals; d. according the moving signals to move the window frame on the monitor toward the direction of the user specifies.
