Abstract

A new pyridyl-thiazoles of the following formula where R represents straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, where R1 represents hydrogen or -CO-R5, R2 represents hydrogen or -CO-R6, R3 represents hydrogen, R4 represents dialkylamino having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in each alkyl group, R5 and R6 independently of one another represent straight-chain or branched alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxycarbonyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy group, aryl having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, or aryl sulphonylamino having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, it being possible for each of the 2 latter radicals to be mono-to trisubstituted in the aryl part in an identical or different manner by halogen, cyano, alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, halogenoalkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 fluorine, chlorine and/or bromine atoms, halogenoalkoxy having 1to 4 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 fluorine, chlorine and/or bromine atoms, R1 and R2, together with the ntrogen atom to which they are bonded, represent a cyclc imide of the formula, wherein A represents alkenediyl having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, it being possible for the radicals mentioned in each case to be mono-to tetrasubstituted in an identical or different manner by halogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, X1 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine, and X2 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine, and salts thereof.
