Abstract

A sort of optical pickup device, for recording/reproducing signals on tracks of a recording disc by means of light beam dots, including the optical pickup device: a substrate; a movable element, for installation of the lens for focusing the light beam on the track of the optical disc; suspended substrate, secured onto the substrate; and the upper and lower pairs of suspension wires for connection of the movable element to te suspension substrate, allowing the movable element move in the focused direction of the lens; where the upper and lower pairs of suspension wires disposed unsymmetric with respect to a center of gravity of the movable section in a height direction of the movable section; the suspension substrate further comprizing a spring section for connecting one ends of the upper and lower pairs of suspension wires, including the spring section a first spring part located higher than the center of the gravity and a second spring part located lower than the center of the gravity in the height direction, first spring constant of the first spring part being made to be different from a second spring constant of the second spring part to prevent the movable section from rolling.
