Abstract
A preparation method and composition for ionomer polymers concern a polymer derived from ethylene and at least 5 wt% of acrylic acid neutralised by a divalent cation(D) and a monovalent cation (M) at a mole ratio D/(D+M) of from 0.3 to 0.8 with at least 23 mol% of the acrylic acid derived acid groups neutralised by the divalent cation so as to provide a melt index uplift of at least 250%.
