Abstract
A polyester film having less than 2.5 kv of electrostatic amount and high adhesion properties and having formed on at least one side of a primer layer which has a softening point of 100 to 170 degree C and consists of (1) 93 to 70% by weight of a water-dispersible polyester resin containing, as a copolymer component, a sulfonic acid metal salt group-containing compound in an amount of 0.01 mole% or more and less than 0.5 mole% of the whole dicarboxylic compound(component A) and having a number average molecular weight of 3000 to 30000 and the water-dispersible polyester resin containing a 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid component in an amount of 30 to 100 mole% of the whole dicarboxylic acid compound; and (2) 7 to 30% by weight of polyethylene oxide-mono (C8-C18) alkyl ether (component B-1) having a number average molecular weight of 300 to 5000 or a mixture and a polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide block copolymer (component B-2) having a number average molecular weight of 5000 to 30000 . The weight ratio of the component B-1 to the component B-2 being 10:0 to 2:8.
