Abstract
A manufacturing method for an extruded lyocell article which comprises the following steps: (1) Cellulose solutions are extruded to produce a elongate member. (2) The elongate member passes at least one water bath to remove water and produce a cellulose article never dried. (3) An aqueous solution of an alkali metal hydroxide, preferably sodium hydroxide, containing from 0.2 to 3.85 wt% is applied to never dried cellulose article. (4) Washed the cellulose article and remove the alkalic metal hydroxide. (5) Dyed the cellulosic article and formed an extruded lyocell article.
