Abstract

A method of preparing high strength adhesive soft tubular shaped cloth from adhesive sheet is comprised of the following steps: (1) Polyester yarn: using high strength, low shrinkage polyester yarn as base material, removing soil, oil and dirt, hanging on the machine; (2) PVC emulsion: applying liquid PVC solution, adding suitable ratio of flame-resistant solvent, anti-mildew solvent and anti-corrosion solvent, forming liquid form of PVC emulsion, placing it in emulsion bucket, and delivering it by tubes to a net shaped roller; (3) First coat operation: passing two rolling buckets, polyester yarn, emulsion bucket delivering the PVC emulsion to net shaped roller, coating evenly of suitable thickness of PVC emulsion onto the surface of polyester yarn, coating the bottom layer with emulsion as the first coat; (4) Embryonic-stage setting: after the first layer coating of PVC emulsion, delivering it perpendicularly to infrared steamer, drying the bottom layer of the 5% PVC emulsion with the infrared rays heating, achieving the embryonic stage setting; (5) Second coat operation: after the embryonic stage setting, coating the surface with another set of net shaped roller of PVC emulsion; (6) Embryonic-stage setting: with the PVC emulsion, sending it to another infrared ray steamer and immediately drying 5% of the coated layer to form adhesive cloth; (7) Dry setting: after 2 coatings of PVC emulsion, treating the cloth with anti- sticking agent before transporting it to the oven, heating under 220 deg.C temperature to solidify completely; (8) Surface treating: projecting the flat sheet adhesive cloth with light to reduce the roughness on two sides of the adhesive cloth and to raise the strength of stretch resistance; (9) Classification: cutting and classifying the adhesive cloth into appropriate width; (10) Wedge mode melting into tubular shape: transporting the cut and classified adhesive cloth to the wedge mode melting apparatus, placing the adhesive cloth sheet on top and bottom layers of the wedge mode apparatus making the adhesive top, bottom of two sides of cloth into tube shape, leaving spaces on the end of two sides for passing high temperature heated brick, melting and pasting the surfaces of the upper and lower portions of the adhesive cloth, pressing the folded portions of adhesive cloth with two pressing wheels and melting onto polyester yarn forming as one body; (11) Rolling the product: rolling the adhesive cloth into tubular shape, yielding high strength soft tubular adhesive cloth.
