Abstract

A method for the recycling of waste rubber into architectural materials, mainly comprising the following processes: (1) crushing the waste rubber with a crusher into grains having a size of 5 to 12 meshes; (2) adding some colorant to the rubber grains, and evenly mixing up; (3) pouring liquified polyester compound and liquified isocyanate into the colorated rubber grains, the amount of which accounting for 5 to 30 % of the total waste rubber, respectively; (4) pouring the material derived in the step (3) into a mold, and pressurizing the material in a specific pressure value until the product being formed; (5) taking out the formed product, and sending it into a drier having a temperature between 55 deg.C and 155 deg.C; the product finished after drying up.
