Abstract
A process of producing water-resistant and fire-resistant heat insulating sheet from natural fiber, which comprises the following steps: (a) crashing to obtain the coconut fiber, which comprises directly crashing wet coconut shells to obtain primary coconut fiber; (b) drying the coconut fiber, which comprises using sunshine or steam to dry the coconut fiber; (c) needle-weaving the fibers into coconut-fiber sheet, which comprises using dried coconut fibers to be applied on the transport net belt, using multiple interleaved needles to penetrate the applied coconut fibers so that the coconut fibers interleaved with each other to form coconut sheet; (d) high pressure vacuum treatment, which comprises subjecting the woven coconut sheet through high pressure vacuum de-greasing, de-watering, de-acid and de-alkali treatments; (e) adhesive treatment, which comprises cutting the vacuum-treated coconut sheet, immersing the cut coconut sheets in a blended shrinking adhesive followed by high pressure de-watering and high temperature drying; (f) steel mold processing formation, which comprises molding the adhesive-treated coconut sheets by steel mold at high pressure and elevated temperature to cross-link the adhesive contained in the coconut sheets; (g) cooling the product; (h) drying, de-watering, odor-removing the product; and (i) surface treatment.
