Abstract
In a motor armature coil winding machine, hooking of the coil wire 9 to each riser 13 can be accomplished with a simple mechanism without requiring any complicated motion to the flyer 3. A wire guide rod 14 can move toward and away from the riser 13, and can selectively extend across the plane of rotation of the coil wire issuing from the flyer 3 onto the armature 1. With the wire guide rod 14 engaging the riser 13, the flyer 3 is caused to make a half turn so as to wrap the wire 9 around the wire guide rod 14 so that the wire 9 is guided by the wire guide rod 14 onto the riser 13, and the wire 9 is then hooked onto the riser 13. Thus, the flyer 3 is not required to make any complex movement, and the structure thereof can be simplified.
