Abstract

A pipe connector, which comprises a first half-cylindrical element which covers half circumference of the connection pipe end, a second half-cylindrical element which covers the other half circumference of the connection pipe end; in which the first half-cylindrical element comprises a first external cylindrical part made of rigid resin, a first liner layer located between the pipe and the first external cylindrical part, and a first connection mechanism which assembles the assembly faces of the first half-cylindrical element and the second half-cylindrical element and joints them together; the second half-cylindrical element comprises a second external cylindrical part made of rigid resin, a second liner layer inserted on the internal circumference of the second external cylindrical part and installed between the pipe and the second external cylindrical part, and a second connection mechanism which buckles with the first connection mechanism and joints the first half-cylindrical element and the second half-cylindrical element; in which the opening width S of each assembly face of the first half-cylindrical element and the second half-cylindrical element, while not-jointed, is smaller than twice the depth D at center position of each opening.
