Abstract

Construction of digging basement, especially suitable for pebble ground layers, such ground construction is easily collapsed, the ground water can be controlled by point wells, the construction can be operated in dependently without constructing block wall; the construction has 5 steps as follows; (A) investigating ground features: containing water permeability, coherence, inner friction angle and support condition of basement; assuring digging depth, side ground pressure and water level of point well at each step; (B) assuring point well water level and water-extracting ability: assuring water level can decrease to under ground water level at each step; (C) middle support construction: constructing temporary perpendicular steel support or permanent steel support; (D) building temporary reverse block wall after each step of digging: calculating digging depth of each step, building temporary reverse block wall after digging step to protect wall face line to stabilize digging face; the block wall containing steel fiber concrete or spraying sludge in the thickness of t=7-30cm to protect digging surface without collapse and against ground pressure; (E) level supporting: applying oil-press jack to support steel support and to resist side ground pressure and the collapse of block wall; permanent level support applying steel concrete as wall plate at each digging stage as inner support system to maintain the stability of digging wall and to avoid the replacement of side direction.
