Abstract

Method of pyolysis of waste tire rubber comprising: using pulverizer or grinding machine to break waste tire rubber into pieces in order to decrease the volume, washing the rubber and drying the rubber; mixing rubber pieces with mica-like catalyst at the pre-heating condition, the amount of mica-like catalyst is 2-3 weight percent of the total weight of rubber; heating and maintaining the temperature between 230-400 deg.C at 1-2.5 atmosphere; distilling the rubber pieces in the presence of catalyst for 1 hour at a totally close condition to pyrolyze rubber; and producing gas and oil mixture and solid residue with carbon black; separating the pyrolysis product into gas, oil mixture, carbon black and residue.
