Abstract

A bicycle operating device comprises a base member, an operated member and a lid member. The base member is configured to be mounted to a bicycle part. The base member has an interior area and an access opening communicating with the interior area. The operated member is movable relative to the base member between a rest position and an operated position. The lid member is slidably coupled to the base member in a sliding direction between a first position closing the access opening and a second position at least partly exposing the access opening.
