Abstract

An improved structure of the handle of a strapping machine comprises a main arm, a clamp arm, an operation handle, and a protective cover. The main arm can pull out the adhesive tape from the front end. The main arm is pivoted with a pincer arm, and a spring is connected between the pincer arm and the main arm, making the pincer arm normally open relative to the main arm. The front end of the pincer arm is provided with a tape taking device and a blade. When the pincer arm is pivoted to swing towards the main arm, the pincer arm can pull out the tape with the tape taking device and cut off the tape with the blade. The operation handle is pivoted on the pincer arm with a pivot and provided with a hook portion located on the main arm for the user to hold the operation handle to control the action of the pincer arm. The protective cover is fixed on both sides of the operation handle and covers only the area between the pivot and the hook portion.

Improved structure of the handle of the strapping machine

The present invention relates to hand tools, in particular to a strapping machine.

FIG. 7 shows a conventional strapping machine, which has a main arm 71 , a clamp arm 72 , an operating member 73 and a cover 74 . The pliers arm 72 is pivoted on the main arm 71 , the operating member 73 is pivoted on the pliers arm 72 , the cover 74 is fixed on the operating member 73 , and an extension 741 extends backward, and the extension 741 is longer than the operating member 73 , thereby forming a handle that can be pressed. The main arm 71 can pull out the tape from the front end, and the front end of the clamp arm 72 is provided with a tape holding device 721. When the extension 741 is pressed, the operating member 73 is forced to be pushed, thereby driving the clamp arm 72 to pivot toward the main arm 71. , and the clamp arm 72 can pull out the tape from the main arm 71 with the tape holding device 721 when pivoting toward the main arm 71, and cut the tape after wrapping the objects.

In the structure of the above-mentioned conventional strapping machine, the handle is integrally formed by the extension section 741 of the protective cover 74, and the extension section 741 of the protective cover 74 is generally made of plastic, and its strength is insufficient, and it will bend after being pressed for a long time. If it is damaged, it cannot be used further.

In view of this, how to improve the above problem is the primary problem to be solved by the present invention.

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide an improved structure for the handle of the strapping machine, which covers the area between the pivot shaft and the hook on one side of the operating handle, which can prevent the intrusion of foreign objects and achieve the protective effect.

In order to achieve the aforementioned purpose, the present invention provides an improved structure of the handle of the strapping machine, which includes: a main arm that pulls the tape out from the front; a clamp arm pivoted to the main arm, the clamp arm and the main arm are connected by a spring, so that the clamp arm is normally opened relative to the main arm; the front end of the clamp arm is provided with a tape holding device and a blade with which the pliers arm can pull tape from the main arm with the tape gripper when pivoting toward the main arm, and cut the tape with the blade; an operating handle, which is pivoted to the pliers arm with a pivot, and is provided with a hook portion positioned on the main arm for the user to hold the operating handle to control the action of the pliers arm; A cover is fixed on both sides of the operating handle and only covers the area between the pivot and the hook.

The above objects and advantages of the present invention can be easily understood from the detailed description and accompanying drawings of the following selected embodiments.

Please refer to Figures 1 and 2, which are the improved structure of the handle of the strapping machine provided by the present invention, which includes a main arm 1 , a clamp arm 2 , an operating handle 3 and a protective cover 4 . The rear end of the main arm 1 is provided with an accommodation chamber 11 for placing the tape roll, so that the tape can be pulled out from the front end of the main arm 1 . The front end of the main arm 1 is provided with a blade 12 . The pincer arm 2 is pivoted to the main arm 1 , and a spring 13 is connected between the pincer arm 2 and the main arm 1 , and the pincer arm 2 is normally opened relative to the main arm 1 by the spring 13 .

On the bearing, the operating handle 3 is made of metal, and is pivoted to the clamp arm 2 with a pivot 31 . The operating handle 3 protrudes backwards with an extension 32 for the user to press, and protrudes forward with a hook 33, which can be positioned on a stopper 14 on the main arm 1 to restrict the pliers arm 2 relative to the opening angle of the main arm 1.

The front end of the pliers arm 2 is provided with a tape holding device 21. When the user presses the extension 32 of the operating handle 3, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the operating handle 3 pushes the pliers arm 2 toward the main arm 1 is pivoted, and then the tape 5 is pulled out from the main arm 1 by the tape holding device 21 . Next, wrap the tape 5 around an object 6 as shown in FIG. 5 , and press the extension 32 again, the operating handle 3 pushes the clamp arm 2 toward the main arm 1 again as shown in FIG. 6 . pivot, and then use the blade 12 to cut the tape 5.

Both sides of the above-mentioned operating handle 3 are respectively locked with a protective cover 4 by screws 41, so as to form a protective effect and prevent foreign objects from invading and causing unsmooth operation. Furthermore, the protective cover 4 only covers the area between the pivot shaft 31 and the hook portion 33 , that is, the area most in need of protection, thereby reducing the material cost on the premise of achieving the protection effect.

An improved structure for a handle of a strapping machine, comprising: a main arm that pulls the tape out from the front; a clamp arm pivoted to the main arm, the clamp arm and the main arm are connected by a spring, so that the clamp arm is normally opened relative to the main arm; the front end of the clamp arm is provided with a tape holding device and a blade with which the pliers arm can pull tape from the main arm with the tape gripper when pivoting toward the main arm, and cut the tape with the blade; an operating handle, which is pivoted to the pliers arm with a pivot, and is provided with a hook portion positioned on the main arm for the user to hold the operating handle to control the action of the pliers arm; A cover is fixed on both sides of the operating handle and only covers the area between the pivot and the hook.
