Abstract

In this invention, differential terminal leg portions of a pair of differential signal terminals are connected by being soldered, at protruding positions thereof on the back surface of an insulation housing, to respective signal patterns on an opposing wiring base plate, and shield-grounding connection portions are disposed at grounding connection positions that are related by a symmetry based on both protruding positions of the pair of differential terminal leg portions, and are connected by being soldered to respective grounding patterns on the wiring base plate which is symmetrically shaped based on both protruding positions of the pair of differential terminal leg portions. Since parasitic capacitances which occur between the grounded shield-grounding connection portions or the grounding pattern and each of the pair of differential signal terminals are approximately equal, no common mode current due to the difference in parasitic capacitances is generated even if a high frequency differential signal flows in the pair of differential signal terminals.
