Abstract

This air conditioner is provided with: a main body (1) on which a flange (1a) is formed around an opening; a cosmetic grill (6) that faces the opening and the flange (1a); a rib that divides a space between the opening and the flange (1a) and the cosmetic grill (6) into a first region and a second region; and a blower. The opening is divided into an intake port that faces the first region and a discharge port that faces the second region. A flow path that causes the intake port and the discharge port to communicate is formed inside the main body (1). The blower generates an air flow that flows from the first region toward a second flow path through the flow path. The flange (1a) in the second region has formed an inclined surface (34) that approaches the cosmetic grill (6) toward the outer periphery of the flange (1a). In the cosmetic grill (6), a protruding section (6d) is formed on a part that faces the inclined surface (34).
