Abstract
The subject of the present invention is to provide an aluminum alloy plate which is excellent in design performance in that while the grain pattern of large grains is exposed on the plate surface, contrast between the grains is sharp. The characteristic of the aluminum alloy plate of the present invention is that it contains Mg: 2.0~6.0 mass%, Mn+Cr: 0.01~0.20 mass%, Fe: below 0.20 mass%, Si: below 0.10 mass%, and remainders of Al and unavoidable impurities. The average grain diameter of the plate surface is 1~10 mm, and the orientation distribution density of the plate surface relative to the random orientation is below 20.
