Abstract
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for battery states detection, comprising the following steps: inputting a pair of charging/discharging current pulses for test purpose to a battery under test, retrieving parameters of battery voltage, current, temperature of the battery in response to the pair of charging/discharging current pulses, in order to estimate the battery states. The battery states include: open-circuit voltage, resistance, capacity, charge status, health status and other information. Through the battery states information, battery detection and grading applications can be rapidly completed.
