Abstract
The invention relates to a method for evaluating neural function by establishing an analysis module. The method comprises steps of using a fluorescent microscope imaging system to capture a cultured cell which comprises nerve cells and non-neuronal cells and is labeled with a plurality of fluorescence to conduct an image analysis; choosing the nerve cells labeled with a plurality of axon and dendrite fluorescence according to nucleus area and fluorescence intensity to exclude non-neuronal cells; calculating size of nerve cell body, length and branch number of axons and dendrites to confirm growth of the axons and the dendrites of the nerve cells; and calculating number of synaptic puncta of the nerve cells according to scope of the plurality of axon and dendrite fluorescence to confirm growth of the nerve cells, so as to evaluate neural function.
