Abstract

The invention relates to an energy saving fan system, comprising a fan, a deceleration mechanism, an universal connector, a DC drive motor and a DC controller. The fan has an impeller. A bearing of the deceleration mechanism is connected to a bearing of the impeller to drive the fan to rotate. The universal connector consists of a first rotor, a second rotor and a plurality of cushioning pads. An alternately displaced protrusion is disposed between the first rotor and the second rotor, and the cushioning pad is arranged between protrusions. Furthermore, the bearings of the deceleration mechanism and the impeller are sleeved with the first and second rotors, respectively. The DC drive motor is provided with a motor rotor connected to the deceleration mechanism for rotation. The DC controller is electrically connected to the DC drive motor to control the speed to be reached within a specific time through a speed button and a time setting button. Accordingly, the invention has advantages of reducing torque and noise, adjusting air volume according to the environment and extending system life.
