Abstract
A floating energy gravity power generation system generally comprises a liquid tank in which at least one longitudinally-extending annular guide rail assembly is arranged. The longitudinally-extending annular guide rail assembly provides a longitudinally-extending annular float movement channel. The float movement channel is provided with a plurality of successively arranged floats therein such that the floats move upward in an ascending section on one side of the float movement channel by means of buoyance generated by liquid in the liquid tank and the floats move downward in a descending section on the opposite side of the float movement channel and containing no liquid therein by means of gravity, whereby the plurality of floats cyclically move upward and downward in the float movement channel. Further, a driving member at one end of each float is provided in combination with driven members that are mounted, in a spaced manner, on an annular chain of a chain wheel assembly of a transmission assembly arranged in the liquid tank such that when the float moves downward, the driving member on the end of the float is brought into contact engagement with the driven members of the annular chain to drive the chain wheel assembly to move whereby the chain wheel assembly may drive a power generation module to allow the power generation module to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.
