Abstract

Provided herein is a washing type blast furnace slag which is smaller than fine-grade size and useful in production of farmland sidewalk pavement and farmland ditch pavement. The washing type blast furnace slag is low-cost and environmentally friendly, and may become quite dense after being dried, bonded and cured, so the farmland sidewalk pavement and the farmland ditch pavement made thereof will not grow weeds. Without additional spraying of herbicides, the farmland sidewalk can be protected against washout or the generation of muds in rainy days, such that vehicles can still move in a normal traffic, and the farmland ditch also will not be gradually filled because of the flow of field water; when the farmland sidewalk or farmland ditch is no longer used or diverted, the washing type blast furnace slag for production of farmland sidewalk pavement and farmland ditch pavement according to this invention can also be in-situ crushed for mixture with farmland soil for use as soil modifier, thereby saving additional costs of waste disposal and soil modifier.
