Abstract

A thiol compound represented by formula (1); (HS-R1-M1-)nL1(1) In the formula (1), L1 represents an n-valent organic linking group, n represents an integer of 3-15, M1 represents -O-, -S-, -N(R2)-, -C(=O)-, -C(=O)-O-, -O-C(=O)-O-, -C(=O)-NH-, -O-C(=O)-NH-, -S(=O)-, -S(=O)-O-, -S(=O)2-, -S(=O)2-O- or -CH=N-, R1 is an alkylene group or represents a group comprising a combination of an alkylene group and an etheric oxygen atom, SH represents a thiol group, and the sulfur atom of SH and the atom of M1 bonded with R1 are separated by five or more atoms of R1.
