Abstract

This invention presents one kind of fireproof cloths and a manufacturing method thereof. The structure thereof includes a fabric layer and a fire barrier layer, which is formed on the fabric layer. And the steps thereof comprise a mixing step, a smearing step and a drying step, where the mixing step is to form a fireproof mixed slurry produced by mixing and stirring liquid glue and blocking agent, and the smearing step is to smear the fireproof mixed slurry on the fabric layer, and the drying step is to let the fire mixed slurry left to dry and form the fire barrier layer. Therefore, with the characteristics of expending as suffering from high temperature and extremely high melting point, to the blocking agent can absorb liquefied combustible material and support the structural integrity. Thereby, the presented fire-proof cloth has the characteristics of no molten droplet, not melt collapse and directly forming the carbonized layer at the high temperature. Namely, the fire will not spread and can be blocked to meet the requirements of fire prevention.

Description

Fireproof cloth and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention relates to fabrics, and more particularly to fire resistant structures for fabrics.

Fire is one of the threats that cannot be ignored in modern architecture. In order to reduce the loss of fire and protect the safety of the public, various fireproof materials have been widely used in people's living environment. Among them, the fireproof cloth is one of the most important flame retardant materials because it can be used as a decoration material in the decoration and can be used as a material for various furniture.
The conventional fireproof cloth is composed of a bottom fabric and a surface fabric, which is a non-flammable rayon, natural fiber or a plain or knitted base fabric blended with rayon and natural fiber, which is processed by post-processing. The method is dipping or coating to produce a flame retardant effect. The surface fabric is a cloth or artificial leather with ornamental value, such as suede cloth, and then adhered with an adhesive with a flame retardant effect. The base fabric and the surface layer fabric are combined to make the base fabric and the fireproof cloth formed by the surface layer fabric have a flame retardant effect by the flame retardant adhesive.
The flame retardant effect of the conventional fireproof cloth comes from the non-flammable treated base fabric, that is, the flame retardant effect is achieved by the added flame retardant, but in the case of a high temperature flame, the surface fabric is easy to have The problem of droplets, and the underlying cloth is not easy to catch fire, but it is easy to melt and collapse. Since the surface layer fabric is flammable, there may be a possibility of fire after the droplets, and the underlying cloth may collapse after melting collapse. More flammable materials are exposed to the flame, which also causes the flame to spread, making it difficult to meet the fire protection requirements.

Accordingly, the main object of the present invention is to provide a fireproof cloth which has the characteristics of not forming droplets, not melting, and direct carbonization to form a barrier layer, and meets the requirements for fire prevention.
The invention relates to a fireproof cloth, the structure comprising a cloth layer and a fire barrier layer formed on the cloth layer, the fire barrier layer being mixed with a liquid glue and a barrier agent.
The step of the mixing comprises a compounding step, a smear step and a drying step, wherein the mixing step is to mix the liquid glue, the barrier agent and stir to form a fireproof mixed slurry, the smearing step is to smear the fireproof mixed slurry Adhesive to the cloth layer, the drying step is to let the cloth layer coated with the fireproof mixed slurry, and to dry and dry to form the fire barrier layer on the cloth layer.
Accordingly, the fireproof cloth of the present invention can absorb the liquefied flammable substance and form a barrier and can support the barrier structure when the flame is subjected to a high temperature flame through the barrier agent having a high temperature and a relatively high melting point. The integrity of the fireproof cloth of the present invention has the characteristics of no melting droplets, no melting collapse, and direct carbonization to form a barrier layer when it is exposed to a high temperature flame, which not only does not cause fire, but also blocks flames, prevents flame spread, and satisfies fire prevention.
