Abstract

A computer system is provided. The computer system comprises a smart phone, a docking station, a display and an operation interface. The smart phone is connected to the docking station. The display is electrically connected to the smart phone via the docking station. The operation interface is electrically connected to the smart phone via the docking station.

The invention relates to a computer system, in particular to a computer system with a mobile phone as the computing core.

At present, mobile phones are more widely used, and almost one hand has two or two mobile phones, and users have higher and higher requirements for using mobile phones. However, due to the size of the volume, some functional requirements cannot be implemented on the mobile phone; or, the implementation will greatly increase the size of the mobile phone. The main concept of the present invention is that as the function of the mobile phone becomes more and more powerful, the main unit of the computer system is replaced by the mobile phone instead of the host computer of the desktop computer. In an embodiment of the invention, the docking station does not have a central processing unit (CPU).

The computer system according to the embodiment of the present invention becomes the main computing core of the computer system by replacing the host computer of the desktop computer with a mobile phone, so that the function of the mobile phone can be effectively utilized, and the host cost of the desktop computer is saved.

Referring to Fig. 1, there is shown a computer system 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, comprising a mobile phone 10, a docking station 20, a display 30, a mouse 41, a keyboard 42, and a loudspeaker 50. The mobile phone 10 is inserted above the docking station 20. The display 30 is electrically connected to the mobile phone 10 through the docking station 20. The mouse 41 and the keyboard 42 constitute an operation interface through which the mobile phone 10 is electrically connected. The speaker 50 is electrically connected to the mobile phone 10 through the docking station 20.

Referring to FIG. 2, the docking station 20 includes a housing 21, a circuit board 22, a battery 23, and a connecting unit 24. The circuit board 22 and the battery 23 are disposed in the housing 21, and the battery 23 is electrically connected to the circuit board 22. The connecting unit 24 is disposed in the shell Above body 21. The mobile phone is electrically connected to the circuit board 22 through a connecting unit 24, and the circuit board 22 includes a plurality of expansion interfaces 25. The mobile phone is inserted into the through hole 246 to be connected to the connector 241.

Referring to FIG. 3C, the connector 241 includes a handset connector 244 and a docking station connector 245. The docking station connector 245 is coupled to the docking station connector 221, and the handset connector 244 is coupled to the handset.

The elastic member 243 may be rubber or other elastic material suitable for matching mobile phones of different sizes. The connector 241 of the dock 20 can have a number of different handset connectors 244 designed to match handsets of different brands, and the design of the dock connector 245 need not be changed. In an embodiment of the invention, only the replacement connector 241 is required to enable a single dock 20 to be matched to a plurality of different brands of handsets.

Referring to Fig. 4, there is shown a computer system 1' of a second embodiment of the present invention. Compared to the first embodiment, the mobile phone 10 of the second embodiment is coupled to the docking station 20 via a docking station.

The computer system according to the embodiment of the present invention becomes the main computing core of the computer system by replacing the host computer of the desktop computer with a mobile phone, so that the function of the mobile phone can be effectively utilized, and the host cost of the desktop computer is saved.

The computer system of the embodiment of the invention may further be connected to a notebook computer, a tablet computer or other electronic device. However, mobile phones are still the main computing core of computer systems.

A computer system comprising: a mobile phone; a docking station, wherein the mobile phone is connected to the docking station; a display is electrically connected to the mobile phone through the docking station; and an operating interface is electrically connected to the mobile phone through the docking station; Among them, the mobile phone is the computing core of the computer system.
