Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for determining the position of a touch panel being touched, and more particularly to a method for subtracting a voltage signal to determine the position of the touch panel being touched.
Please refer to FIG. 1 , which is a schematic diagram of a conventional touch panel 100 . The touch panel 100 includes a plurality of pixels P arranged in a matrix form. The plurality of data lines D are used for transmitting display data to a plurality of pixels P, and the plurality of scanning lines G are used for transmitting scanning signals to a plurality of pixels P. The common voltage source 110 is configured to provide a common voltage to the plurality of pixels P, the polarity control unit 120 is configured to control the polarity of the plurality of pixels P, and the plurality of sensing units S are configured to generate a voltage signal according to the external input, and the plurality of reading lines R, each of the read lines R is electrically connected to the sensing unit S on the corresponding row, and the determining unit 130 is configured to read the voltage signal of the sensing unit S via the read line R to determine the corresponding drawing of the sensing unit S. Whether the prime P is touched. When the touch panel 100 is touched, the sensing unit S of the touched position generates a corresponding voltage signal change according to the input of the external unit, and the touch panel 100 can be determined to be touched according to the voltage signal size of the sensing unit S. The location.
Please refer to FIG. 2 , which is a schematic diagram of the waveform of the relevant signal of the touch panel 100 . When the pixel P on the touch panel 100 is turned on by the scanning signal Y, the common voltage of the touch panel 100 generates noise N on the pixel P that is turned on, and the noise N of the common voltage affects the touch. The sensing of the control panel 100, especially when the pixel P is turned on, the judging unit 130 is reading corresponding to the drawing The voltage signal of the sensing unit S of the prime P, at which time the voltage signal of the sensing unit S is changed by the noise interference of the common voltage, so that the determining unit 130 generates a false positive.
Please refer to FIG. 3 , which is a schematic diagram of another touch panel 200 . The conventional touch panel 200 uses the difference generator 140 to reduce the influence of the noise of the common voltage on the voltage signal of the sensing unit S. For example, the difference generator 140 is electrically connected to the plurality of read lines R. When the determining unit 130 is to read the voltage signal corresponding to the sensing unit S11 of the pixel P11, the difference generator 140 will correspond to The voltage signal of the sensing unit S11 of the pixel P11 is subtracted from the voltage signal of the sensing unit S12 of the other reading line R2 of the same column to exclude the noise of the common voltage. Thus, the determining unit 130 can read the voltage signal that is not affected by the common voltage noise.
However, the polarity control unit 120 of the touch panel often controls the touch panel display screen in a specific polarity inversion manner (for example, a dot polarity inversion party, a complex dot polarity inversion mode, or a row polarity inversion mode), that is, The polarity of the pixel P in different positions may be different. When the polarities of the two pixels are different, the prior art method of subtracting the voltage signals of the sensing units S of different reading lines R may cause the common voltage noise to be amplification.

330。 Please refer to Figures 4 and 5. 4 is a schematic view of a first embodiment of a touch panel of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a difference operation unit of FIG. 4. The touch panel 300 of the present invention comprises a plurality of pixels P arranged in a matrix form, the plurality of data lines D are used for transmitting display data to a plurality of pixels P, and the plurality of scanning lines G are used for transmitting scanning signals to a plurality of pixels. P, the common voltage source 110 is used to provide a common voltage for a plurality of pixels, the polarity control unit 120 is used to control the polarity of the plurality of pixels P, and the plurality of sensing units S are used to generate a voltage signal according to an external input, and the plurality of readings are performed. The line R, each of the read lines R is electrically connected to the sensing unit S on its corresponding row, the plurality of difference calculating units 340, and the determining unit 330.
Different from the prior art, the difference calculation unit 340 is configured to apply the sensing unit S corresponding to the pixel P of the same polarity on the same read line R according to the polarity inversion manner of the touch panel 300. The voltage signals are subtracted to exclude noise from the common voltage. For example, when the touch panel 300 displays the picture in the dot polarity inversion manner, the polarity of the pixel P11 of the first column on the line R1 and the third line of the read line R1 are read in the same frame period. The five columns of pixels P31, P51 will have the same polarity. Therefore, in the same frame period, the difference operation unit 340 can first read the voltage signal corresponding to the sensing unit S11 of the pixel P11 when the pixel P11 of the first column on the read line is turned on (the selector 342 is powered at this time). Connected to the first input terminal a of the difference generator 346, and the switch 344 of the output of the difference generator 346 is turned off), and then read correspondingly when the pixel P31 of the third column on the read line R1 is turned on. The voltage signal of the sensing unit S31 of the pixel P31 (the selector 342 is electrically connected to the second input b of the difference generator 346, and the switch 344 of the output of the difference generator 346 is turned off), and then The two voltage signals are subtracted to generate a difference, and the difference is transmitted to the determining unit 330 (the switch 344 of the output of the difference generator 346 is turned on), and the determining unit 330 determines the pixel P11 according to the difference. Whether the pixel P31 is touched. For example, if the touch panel 300 is a light-sensitive touch panel, when the pixel P31 of the third column on the read line R1 is touched, the pixel P31 of the third column on the read line R1 corresponds to The voltage signal of the sensing unit S31 will be lower, so the difference will be positive. When the pixel P11 of the first column on the read line R1 is touched, the voltage signal of the sensing unit S11 corresponding to the pixel P11 of the first column on the read line R1 will be lower, so the difference will be a negative value. When the pixel P11 of the first column and the pixel P31 of the third column on the read line R1 are not touched, the difference will be close to zero.
According to the above configuration, the determining unit 330 can correctly determine whether the pixel is touched without being affected by the noise of the common voltage.
Please refer to Figure 6. FIG. 6 is a schematic view of a second embodiment of the touch panel of the present invention. The touch panel 400 can also include only a difference operation unit 340 for selectively subtracting the voltage signals of the sensing units S corresponding to the pixels P to be sensed via the plurality of read lines R.
Please refer to FIG. 7 , which is a diagram for determining the position of the touch panel being touched by the present invention. Flow chart of the method 700. The process of determining the position of the touch panel by the touch panel is as follows: Step 710: Read a voltage signal corresponding to the first sensing unit of the first pixel on the read line during a first period of a frame period; 720: Read, in a second period of the frame period, a voltage signal corresponding to the second sensing unit of the second pixel on the read line, where the polarity of the second pixel is the same as the polarity of the first pixel Step 730: subtracting the voltage signal of the first sensing unit and the voltage signal of the second sensing unit to generate a difference; and step 740: determining, according to the difference, whether the first pixel and the second pixel are Being touched.
Basically, the steps of the above-mentioned flowchart 700 are not necessarily adjacent, and other steps may be interposed between the above steps, for example, driving the touch panel in a polarity inversion manner. The polarity inversion method may be a point polarity inversion method, a complex point polarity inversion method, or a line polarity inversion method.
Please refer to Figure 8. Figure 8 is a schematic view of a third embodiment of the touch panel of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 8, the touch panel 500 is divided into a plurality of display blocks, each of which includes a plurality of pixels P arranged in a matrix form, a plurality of sensing units S, and a plurality of reference units SR. The sensing unit S is disposed on the sensing line for generating a voltage signal according to an external input. The reference unit SR is disposed on the reference line for generating a reference voltage signal. The difference operation unit 540 subtracts the voltage signal of one of the sensing units S of the column and the reference voltage signal of one of the reference cells SR of the column by the reading line R when the column of pixels P is turned on to generate a difference. . The determining unit 530 further determines, according to the difference, whether the column of pixels P is touched. According to the above configuration, the touch panel 500 uses the reference voltage signal of the reference unit SR as a reference to determine whether the pixel P corresponding to the sensing unit S is touched, thereby avoiding noise interference caused by the common voltage.
Please refer to Figure 9. FIG. 9 is a schematic view showing a fourth embodiment of the touch panel of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 9, each difference operation unit 640 of the touch panel is electrically connected to two read lines R separated by a predetermined number of lines (for example, three lines apart) for drawing in a row via the read line R. When the prime P is turned on, the voltage signals of the two sensing units S corresponding to the column pixels P on the two read lines R are subtracted to generate a difference. The determining unit 630 further determines, according to the difference, whether the column of pixels P is touched. According to the above configuration, since the two sensing units S being read are separated by a fixed distance, the two sensing units S can be prevented from being touched at the same time when the distance is too close, thereby causing the judgment unit 630 to misjudge the situation. .
Please refer to Figure 10. FIG. 10 is a schematic view showing a fifth embodiment of the touch panel of the present invention. The touch panel 800 is divided into a plurality of display blocks, each of which includes a plurality of pixels P arranged in a matrix form, a plurality of sensing units S, and a plurality of reference units SR. The sensing unit S is disposed on the sensing line for generating a voltage signal according to an external input. The reference unit SR is disposed on the reference line for generating a reference voltage signal. Each difference operation unit 840 is electrically connected to a display block for reading the voltage signal of the sensing unit S corresponding to the item and the reference voltage signal of the reference unit SR via the read line R according to a predetermined timing. For example, the difference operation unit compares the voltage signal of the sensing unit S11 of the first row and the first column in the first period of the first frame period (that is, when the first column of pixels is turned on). The reference voltage signal of the unit SR is subtracted to generate a difference, and the determining unit 830 determines whether the first column of pixels is touched according to the difference. The difference operation unit 840 further converts the voltage signal of the sensing unit S22 of the second row and the second column to the reference unit of the second column in the second period of the first frame period (that is, when the second column of pixels is turned on). The reference voltage signal of the SR is subtracted to generate a difference, and the determining unit 830 determines whether the second column of pixels is touched according to the difference, and so on. In the second frame period, the difference operation unit 840 sets the voltage signal of the sensing unit S12 of the second row and the first column in the first period of the second frame period (that is, when the first column of pixels is turned on). The reference voltage signal of the reference unit SR of the first column is subtracted to generate a difference, and the determining unit 830 determines whether the first column of pixels is touched according to the difference. The difference operation unit 840 further turns the voltage signal and the second column of the sensing unit S23 of the third row and the second column in the second period of the second frame period (that is, when the second column of pixels is turned on). The reference voltage signal of the reference unit SR is subtracted to generate a difference, and the determining unit 830 determines whether the second column of pixels is touched according to the difference, and so on. According to the above configuration, since the difference operation unit 840 reads the voltage signal of the corresponding sensing unit S and the reference voltage signal of the reference unit SR via the reading line R according to the predetermined timing, it is possible to prevent the plurality of sensing units S from being simultaneously In the case of touch, a situation in which the judgment unit misjudges occurs.
In addition, the touch panel may be a light-sensitive touch panel or a capacitive touch panel.
Compared with the prior art, the touch panel of the present invention can subtract the voltage signals of the sensing units corresponding to the pixels of the same polarity on the same reading line according to the polarity inversion manner, so as to exclude the noise of the common voltage. The judgment unit can correctly judge whether the pixel is touched, and the noise of the common voltage is amplified.
