Abstract

一種液晶顯示裝置,包括背光模組、液晶層及液晶控制單元。該背光模組包括導光板,該導光板包括出光面和與該出光面相背之底面,該底面上形成有網點,該導光板包括混光區和與該混光區連接的非混光區,該網點在對應該混光區的該底面的第一部分密度大於該網點在對應該非混光區的該底面的第二部分密度。該液晶層包括對應該混光區的輝度修正區及對應非混光區的非修正區,該液晶控制單元施加輝度修正電壓到該輝度修正區以使得該輝度修正區的出光輝度與該非修正區的出光輝度一致。

Description

液晶顯示裝置
本發明涉及一種液晶顯示裝置。
液晶顯示裝置的側向入光式背光模組一般包括一導光板及分佈於該導光板一側面的多個發光二極體。導光板包括一鄰近發光二極體的混光區,多個發光二極體發出的光在混光區內進行混合並在離開混光區時達到均勻分佈。因此,在混光區之外,從導光板射出的光是均勻分佈的。然而,在混光區內,從導光板射出的光並不能達到均勻分佈,從而造成亮暗區塊,使得看到的液晶顯示裝置顯示的影像品味較差。
有鑒於此,有必要提供一種可獲得較佳品味的液晶顯示裝置。
一種液晶顯示裝置,包括背光模組、液晶層及液晶控制單元。該背光模組包括導光板,該導光板包括出光面和與該出光面相背之底面,該底面上形成有網點,該導光板包括混光區和與該混光區連接的非混光區,該網點在對應該混光區的該底面的第一部分密度大於該網點在對應該非混光區的該底面的第二部分密度。該液晶層包括對應該混光區的輝度修正區及對應非混光區的非修正區,該液晶控制單元施加輝度修正電壓到該輝度修正區以使得該輝度修正區的出光輝度與該非修正區的出光輝度一致。
相對於先前技術,本發明通過給液晶層施加輝度修正電壓以使得液晶層的出光輝度均勻,提高了顯示的影像的品味。
進一步,本發明通過導光板上網點的設計,使得導光板在混光區的輝度大於非混光區,從而在修正時,只需要將對應於混光區的輝度修正區的輝度修正為和對應於非混光區的非修正區的輝度一致,對非修正區不做輝度修正,從而減少了輝度修正所帶來的光能損失。

圖1係本發明一實施方式的液晶顯示裝置的結構示意圖。
圖2係圖1所示的液晶顯示裝置的背光模組的仰視圖。
下面將結合附圖與實施例對本技術方案作進一步詳細說明。
請參閱圖1,本發明實施方式提供的液晶顯示裝置100,其包括一背光模組10、一液晶層20、及一液晶控制單元30。
該背光模組10包括多個光源11及一導光板12,在本實施方式中,該光源11為發光二極體(LED)。
該導光板12包括一出光面120、一和出光面120相背之底面122、一連接出光面120及底面122之入光面124及一和入光面124相對之側面125。該多個發光二極體11彼此間隔且均鄰近該入光面124設置。該導光板12包括一鄰近該多個發光二極體11的混光區126及一相對混光區126遠離發光二極體11的非混光區127。發光二極體11發出的光從入光面124進入導光板12並向著側面125的方向傳播。
請參閱圖2,該導光板12的底面122上形成有網點128。網點128的作用是改變光的傳播角度從而使得光線從出光面120射出導光板12。其中,該底面122分成對應於該混光區126的第一部分1221及對應於該非混光區127的第二部分1222。該第一部分1221的網點128的密度要大於該第二部分1222的網點128的密度,從而使得在混光區126更多的光線可以從出光面120射出,使得出光面120在混光區126的輝度要稍大於非混光區127的輝度。在光線從出光面120射出後,在非混光區127,光線的輝度一致。而在混光區126,光線的輝度不一致從而導致出現明暗區塊。
除上述元件外,該背光模組10還可包括反射片、擴散片、棱鏡片、增亮膜等(圖未示),其中,反射片緊貼該導光板12的底面122,擴散片、棱鏡片、增亮膜依次疊加於該導光板12的出光面120上。由於上述元件是本領域技術人員所熟知的,在此不再累述。
光線從導光板12的出光面120射出後穿過液晶層20,並從液晶層20射出該液晶顯示裝置100。該液晶層20中包括多個液晶分子,當被施加不同的電壓時,液晶分子即偏轉不同的角度,從而改變光線穿過液晶層20的通過率,光線穿過液晶層20之後的輝度也隨之發生改變。該液晶層20包括一對應導光板12的混光區126的輝度修正區210和一對應非混光區127的非修正區211。
該液晶層20可以分為以坐標位置彼此區分的基本組成單元,其中,部分的基本組成單元組成該輝度修正區210,部分的基本組成單元組成該非修正區211。該液晶控制單元30包括一輝度修正表301,該輝度修正表301存儲有液晶層20的座標位置與輝度修正電壓的對應關系。該液晶控制單元30根據該輝度修正表301施加不同的輝度修正電壓到對應的座標位置,從而使得液晶層20的不同區域的輝度一致,以獲得較佳的顯示品味。
在本實施方式中,只需要對輝度修正區210施加輝度修正電壓,使得輝度修正區210的輝度達到一致並且和液晶層20的非修正區211的輝度一致。
該輝度修正表301中的數據可以通過以下方式獲得:通過一輝度量測儀40測得未經修正的液晶層20的輝度分佈圖,將該輝度分佈圖數字化並反饋給液晶控制單元30,液晶控制單元30將液晶層20在非修正區211的平均輝度作為基準輝度,將輝度修正區210的各坐標位置的輝度分別與基準輝度比較,並根據液晶層20的輝度與電壓的對應關系,得到將輝度修正區210的各坐標位置的輝度修正到基準輝度所需的輝度修正電壓,並將其存儲到輝度修正表301中。
相較於先前技術,本發明通過給液晶層施加輝度修正電壓以使得液晶層的輝度一致,提高了顯示的影像的品味。
進一步,本發明通過導光板上網點的設計,使得導光板在混光區的輝度大於非混光區,從而在修正時,只需要將對應於混光區的輝度修正區的輝度修正為和對應於非混光區的非修正區的輝度一致,對非修正區不做輝度修正,從而減少了輝度修正所帶來的光能損失。
綜上所述,本發明確已符合發明專利之要件,遂依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述者僅為本發明之較佳實施方式,自不能以此限制本案之申請專利範圍。舉凡熟悉本案技藝之人士援依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆應涵蓋於以下申請專利範圍內。

Claims (6)

  1. 一種液晶顯示裝置,包括背光模組、液晶層及液晶控制單元,該背光模組包括導光板,該導光板包括出光面和與該出光面相背之底面,該底面上形成有網點,該導光板包括混光區和與該混光區連接的非混光區,其改進在於:該網點在對應該混光區的該底面的第一部分密度大於該網點在對應該非混光區的該底面的第二部分密度,該液晶層包括對應該混光區的輝度修正區及對應非混光區的非修正區,該液晶控制單元施加輝度修正電壓到該輝度修正區以使得該輝度修正區的出光輝度與該非修正區的出光輝度一致。
  2. 如請求項1所述的液晶顯示裝置,其中:該背光模組還包括多個光源,該導光板還包括入光面,該入光面連接該出光面及該底面,該多個光源鄰近該入光面設置。
  3. 如請求項2所述的液晶顯示裝置,其中:該混光區鄰近該多個光源,該非混光區相對該混光區遠離該多個光源。
  4. 如請求項2所述的液晶顯示裝置,其中:該多個光源為發光二極體。
  5. 如請求項1所述的液晶顯示裝置,其中:該背光模組還包括反射片、擴散片、棱鏡片及增亮膜,該反射片設置在該底面上,該擴散片、該棱鏡片及該增亮膜依次疊加於該該出光面上。
  6. 如請求項1所述的液晶顯示裝置,其中:該液晶層包括以坐標位置彼此區分的基本組成單元,該液晶控制單元包括輝度修正表,該輝度修正表存儲有該輝度修正電壓與該坐標位置的對應關系,該液晶控制單元根據該輝度修正表施加該輝度修正電壓到對應的基本組成單元。
