Abstract

Description

交街期間統合B節點及支援加強上鏈傳輸之無線通信方法 及裝置
本發明係有關無線通信系統。更特別是,本發明係有關交接期間統合B節點及支援加強上鏈(EU)傳輸之方法及裝置。
改善第三代夥伴計劃(3GPP)中之加強上鏈傳輸之涵蓋,產出及傳輸延遲之許多方案已被提出。發展之一係將排程及分配上鏈(UL)實際頻道資源之功能從無線網路控制器(RNC)移至B節點。B節點可在短期基礎上較無線網路控制器做更有效決定及管理上鏈無線資源。類似方法已於通用行動電信系統(UMTS)分頻雙工(FDD)及分時雙工(TDD)模式中之下鏈高速資料封包存取(HSDPA)中被採用。
亦了解效能可使用媒體存取控制(MAC)位準自動重複要求(ARQ)及混合自動重複要求(HARQ)被大大增加。軟交接期間施加這些技術可提供額外明顯利益。
第1圖顯示包含一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)105,一B節點110,一無線網路控制器(RNC)115及至少兩胞元120A,120B之傳統無線多胞元通信系統100。各胞元120A,120B係藉由B節點110提供。B節點110係被無線網路控制器115控制。當提供最佳無線條件之胞元改變被決定於胞元120A及120B之間時,交接處理係被啟動。
如第1圖所示,當無線傳輸/接收單元被相同B節點控制從一胞元改變至另一胞元時係產生"B節點內交接"。當 無線傳輸/接收單元被不同B節點控制從一胞元改變至另一胞元時係產生"B節點間交接"。後者例中,交接之前控制胞元之B節點係被稱為源B節點,而交接之後控制胞元之B節點係被稱為目標B節點。
軟交接期間,無線傳輸/接收單元建立與主動組中複數B節點之複數連接。此情況中,排程及混合自動重複要求操作可能產生問題。無線傳輸/接收單元可能接收來自一個以上B節點之衝突加強上鏈傳輸排程。無線傳輸/接收單元亦難以接收,解碼及處理由複數B節點所產生之混合自動重複要求正及負認可(ACK/NACK)。B節點中之混合自動重複要求處理之軟緩衝可能於軟交接期間腐化。
當無線傳輸/接收單元處於軟交接時,支援跨越多B節點之混合自動重複要求之一方法係放置認可/否定產生功能於無線網路控制器中,其可以多B節點之結果為基礎來驅動單認可/否定。然而,此方法明顯延遲該認可/否定處理,其為高度非預期效能因素。
當無線傳輸/接收單元進行B節點之間硬交接時,硬交接完成之前為B節點之源B節點可能不能成功接收硬交接致動時間之前被否定之資料封包之加強上鏈傳輸。其他競爭上鏈資源之無線傳輸/接收單元可能不被提供源胞元中之足夠實際資源。若交接之前被否定之資料區塊於交接致動計時器終止之前被傳送至源B節點,則這些資料區塊可被結合先前資料區塊以便混合自動重複要求解碼。此法中,雖然失敗,但解碼仍利用源胞元中之這些資料區塊傳輸。 若交接之前被否定之資料區塊於交接致動計時器終止之前不被傳送至源B節點,則其再次被傳送於目標胞元中當作新資料區塊。此例中,源胞元中之這些資料區塊先前傳輸不被使用。
本發明係有關交接期間統合B節點以加強上鏈傳輸之無線通信方法及裝置。該裝置可為無線通信系統,無線網路控制器,B節點及/或積體電路(IC)。
一實施例中,無線多胞元通信系統係包含一無線網路控制器,複數個B節點,及複數個無線傳輸/接收單元。各B節點提供至少一胞元及排程來自無線傳輸/接收單元之加強上鏈傳輸。一旦無線網路控制器了解軟交接之需求,無線傳輸/接收單元即建立連接至主動組中之B節點。主動組中之B節點之一係被指定為主B節點,而所有其他B節點係被指定為非主B節點。無線網路控制器或無線傳輸/接收單元係選擇主B節點並通知主B節點給其他B節點。軟交接期間,主B節點可排程加強上鏈傳輸,並執行認可/否定。
各實施例中,無線網路控制器係針對被連接至源B節點之無線傳輸/接收單元啟動硬交接。當無線傳輸/接收單元停止傳輸及接收而被連接至源B節點時,無線網路控制器係通知源B節點。無線網路控制器可傳送致動計時器至源B節點來設定交接時間。交接完成於致動計時器終止時。
源B節點可決定是否具有被該源B節點否定之任何先前被傳輸資料封包。為了在致動計時器終止之前儘可能接 收先前被否定資料封包,源B節點可調整優先性及/或調整被用於無線傳輸/接收單元所傳送之資料封包傳輸之調變及編碼計劃(MCS)。
本發明將參考附圖做說明,其中遍及全文之相似數字係代表相似元件。
此後,"無線傳輸/接收單元"一詞可包含但不限於使用者設備(UE),行動台,固定或行動用戶單元,呼叫器,或可操作於無線環境中之任何其他類型元件。

第2圖顯示依據本發明使用被放置於主B節點中之上鏈排程器之無線多胞元通信系統200。無線多胞元通信系統200包含一無線傳輸/接收單元205,複數B節點210(也就是210A,210B),一無線網路控制器215,及複數胞元260(也就是260A,260B,260C)。胞元260A及260C係藉由B節點210A提供。胞元260B係藉由B節點210B提供。所有B節點210均被無線網路控制器215控制。
軟交接期間,無線傳輸/接收單元205建立與被包含於主動組中之B節點210之複數連接。來自無線傳輸/接收單元205之各傳輸係被獨立處理於各B節點210處。主動組中之B節點210之一被指定為主B節點210A,另一B節點被指定為非主B節點210B。
如第2圖所示,主B節點210A包含一媒體存取控制實體250A,其包括一上鏈排程器255。各非主節點210B亦包含一媒體存取控制實體250B。各媒體存取控制實體250A,250B係處理加強上鏈傳輸。媒體存取控制實體250A中之上鏈排程器255係負責排程該加強上鏈傳輸。
依據本發明一實施例,上鏈排程器255於軟交接期間僅被實施於主B節點210A。無線傳輸/接收單元205僅接收來自主胞元260A中之主B節點210A之上鏈傳輸排程。然而,主B節點210A無法於每傳輸時間間隔(TTI)傳送該排程資訊至非主B節點210B。為了使主B節點210A得以分配無線傳輸/接收單元205之資源來傳輸於被非主B節點210B控制之胞元中,這些被非主B節點210B控制之複數胞元260B中之主B節點250A所排程之資源無法藉由非主B節點210B分配。因此,主動加強上鏈子集中之所有胞元所共用之某些實際資源應於軟交接期間被用於無線傳輸/接收單元205之特定B節點分配及保存,所以這些資源僅可被主B節點210A使用。
被放置於主B節點210A中之上鏈排程器255係考慮主動加強上鏈子集中之任何胞元260A,260B,260C處之 加強上鏈傳輸所引起之干擾位準低於預定最大允許干擾位準。因此,主B節點250A限制無線傳輸/接收單元205之傳輸功率位準,使干擾位準亦位於其他胞元260B,260C處之最大允許干擾位準內。為達成此,無線網路控制器215必須傳送被非主B節點210B控制之胞元260B之必要資訊,如傳輸功率位準及干擾位準至主B節點210A,其接著使用該資訊來排程上鏈傳輸。
加強上鏈排程資訊係僅藉由主B節點210A經主胞元260A被傳送至無線傳輸/接收單元205。軟交接期間,雖然所有其他胞元260B,260C中之加強上鏈排程資訊均有效,但無線傳輸/接收單元205僅接收主胞元260A中之加強上鏈排程資訊。
一實施例中,主B節點250A係被無線網路控制器215或無線傳輸/接收單元205選擇。無線網路控制器215可選擇預定時間窗期間具有最高百分比被正確接收資料區塊之B節點為主B節點。
另一實施例中,無線網路控制器215可產生預定時間區間之各B節點統計值,如位元錯誤率(BER)或框錯誤率(FER)或類似物。接著,無線網路控制器215可選擇具有最佳效能之B節點為主B節點210A。無線網路控制器215接著可分別經由無線資源控制(RRC)及Iub信號發送通知主B節點210A給無線傳輸/接收單元205及所有其他B節點。
另一實施例中,無線傳輸/接收單元102可選擇具有最佳下鏈前導功率(也就是最佳下鏈路徑損失或最高編碼功率) 之B節點210為主B節點210A。無線傳輸/接收單元205可量測被接收自所有B節點210之前導信號功率,及選擇具有最高前導功率之B節點210為主B節點210A。無線傳輸/接收單元205接著經由快速實際層信號發送將主B節點210A通知所有其他B節點。
無線傳輸/接收單元205可報告所有胞元260之下鏈前導功率至無線網路控制器215。無線網路控制器215接著以組合上鏈及下鏈品質為基礎選擇一B節點210為主B節點210a。預定時間窗期間,胞元260之上鏈品質係以被正確接收資料區塊(或位元錯誤率,框錯誤率,或類似物)之百分比為基礎,而胞元260之下鏈品質係以無線傳輸/接收單元接收下鏈前導功率為基礎。接著,無線網路控制器215分別經由通知無線資源控制及Iub信號發送通知主B節點210A給無線傳輸/接收單元205及所有其他B節點210。
本發明係優於先前技術系統。使用本發明,無線傳輸/接收單元並不於軟交接期間從B節點接收加強上鏈傳輸之衝突排程。此外,加強上鏈傳輸係考慮被非主B節點控制之胞元中之干擾位準及無線資源來排程。從主B節點210A至無線傳輸/接收單元205之信號發送延遲遠低於從無線網路控制器215至無線傳輸/接收單元205之信號發送延遲。
各實施例中,第3圖顯示類似第2圖所示之系統200之無線多胞元通信系統300。如第3圖所示,主B節點210A係包含具有認可/否定產生器305之媒體存取控制實體250A。僅主B節點210A具有該認可/否定產生器305。主 B節點210A可執行具有增設冗餘之混合自動重複要求,或僅無法實施增設冗餘之自動重複要求。
仍然參考第3圖,主B節點210A可經由主胞元260A接收來自無線傳輸/接收單元205之至少一資料封包,並對該資料封包執行錯誤檢查。如週期冗餘檢查(CRC)之任何錯誤檢查方法均可被使用。若主B節點210A正確解碼該資料封包,如通過週期冗餘檢查,則主B節點210A傳送認可至無線傳輸/接收單元205,亦傳輸該被正確解碼封包資料至無線網路控制器215。若主B節點210A無法正確解碼封包資料,則主B節點210A傳送否定至無線傳輸/接收單元205。
非主B節點210B亦對資料封包執行錯誤檢查。然而,非主B節點210B並不傳送認可或否定至無線傳輸/接收單元205。相反地,非主B節點210B傳送被成功解碼封包資料至無線網路控制器215。軟交接期間,僅主B節點210A產生混合自動重複要求(或自動重複要求),認可及否定及控制再傳輸。
被非主B節點210B接收無線傳輸/接收單元所辨識之媒體存取控制層可被用於通用行動電信系統陸上無線存取網路(UTRAN)中傳送被成功接收傳輸。因為非主B節點210B並不察覺何無線傳輸/接收單元已被主B節點210A排程用於加強上鏈傳輸,所以非主B節點210B可視無線傳輸/接收單元視別號之帶中媒體存取控制層信號發送而定來傳送被正確接收傳輸至正確無線網路控制器無線鏈路。即使 主B節點210A可察覺何無線傳輸/接收單元被排程,相同方法亦可被主B節點210A實施。
較佳是,主B節點210A可使用軟組合來處理傳輸,而非主B節點210B不需軟組合來處理各傳輸。若主B節點傳送否定至無線傳輸/接收單元205,則被否定資料封包係被儲存於主B節點210A之緩衝器中,且該被否定資料封包係被與被再傳輸資料封包組合。相對地,非主B節點210B並不儲存被否定資料封包。此消除B節點210間之軟緩衝腐化問題,且複合多獨立認可及/或否定。
當增設組合處理被實施時,應量測來避免軟緩衝腐化。需佇列資訊或新資料指標來促使B節點210偵測無線傳輸/接收單元205不再針對特定無線傳輸/接收單元混合自動重複要求處理重複資料,而是傳送新資料。此特定被需要,因為B節點210並無其他得知新傳輸已啟動之方法。可替代是,非主B節點210B可執行簡單自動重複要求,而不使用增設組合處理。此消除軟緩衝腐化問題。

認可/否定訊息傳輸係具有兩選擇。第一選擇係為同步傳輸。認可/否定訊息係於獨一時間延遲之後針對對應上鏈傳輸或加強上鏈頻道配置訊息被傳輸。第二選擇係為非同步傳輸。認可/否定訊息傳輸及對應上鏈傳輸或加強上鏈頻道配置訊息之間並無獨一延遲。認可/否定訊息中之明確資訊係辨識對應上鏈傳輸,使無線傳輸/接收單元205得於認可/否定訊息及傳輸之間作出正確相關。此相關係藉由各認可/否定回授訊息至無線傳輸/接收單元205來辨識混合自動重複要求處理號及/或獨一佇列號,如傳輸佇列號而達成。
較佳被實施於非同步認可/否定回授例之各實施例中,非主B節點210B可提供混合自動重複要求認可/否定結果至主B節點210A來避免被主B節點210A錯誤接收但被非 主B節點210B正確接收之傳輸之非必要再傳輸。非主B節點210B並不直接傳送認可或否定訊息至無線傳輸/接收單元205。非主B節點210B傳送認可/否定或週期冗餘檢查結果至無線網路控制器215。接著,無線網路控制器215傳送認可或週期冗餘檢查結果至主B節點210A。
為了加速混合自動重複要求處理,被無線網路控制器接收之來自任何非主B節點210B之第一認可訊息係較佳立即被轉送至主B節點210A。若傳輸被正確接收於主B節點210A而不需等待非主B節點210B之回授,則主B節點210A亦立即產生認可訊息。即使其他認可訊息可被轉送,主B節點210A於接收被轉送自無線網路控制器之認可訊息時亦立即產生認可訊息。因為若任一路徑成功,則認可被產生,所以一旦第一成功傳輸被找出,認可即可被產生。
可替代是,為了簡化認可/否定產生器205之設計,僅產生節點子集可被使用。例如,認可僅可被產生於無線網路控制器,或無線網路控制器及主B節點210A處。
當無線傳輸/接收單元205傳送上鏈傳輸時,針對各混合自動重複要求,無線傳輸/接收單元205係等待主B節點210A傳送認可/否定回授所需之最少時間。針對各混合自動重複要求,若認可被無線傳輸/接收單元205接收,則無線傳輸/接收單元205可於下一可取得或被分配機會中傳送新資料。

第4圖為依據本發明之一實施例包含軟交接期間統合B節點中之方法步驟處理流程圖400。步驟405中,無線網路控制器215做出啟動B節點間軟交接之決定。步驟410中,無線傳輸/接收單元205建立與主動組中之至少兩B節點之連接。步驟415中,主動組中之B節點210之一係被指定為主B節點210A,而主動組中之剩餘一個或更多B節點210被指定為非主B節點210B。步驟420中,主B節點210A可於軟交接期間藉由執行加強上鏈排程及混合自動重複要求操作來控制上鏈傳輸。
第5圖為依據本發明各實施例包含於硬交接被完成之前優先化源B節點中之被否定資料傳輸之方法步驟處理流程圖500。步驟505中,無線網路控制器215做出啟動被連接至源B節點210之無線傳輸/接收單元205之硬交接決定。步驟510中,無線網路控制器215傳送致動計時器至源B節點210來設定交接時間。
仍然參考第5圖,若源B節點210決定具有先前被否定之資料封包,則先前被否定之資料封包應於交接致動計 時器終止之前儘量被再傳輸。否則,系統可能喪失增設組合先前傳輸及再傳輸之利益。因此,當源B節點排程器255排程已被否定之資料封包時會考慮交接致動時間。若源B節點210並無足夠無線資源來及時排程所有被否定資料封包之傳輸,則源B節點210應設法盡量排程被否定之資料封包。
仍然參考第5圖,為了於交接致動計時器終止之前儘量傳輸被否定資料封包,源B節點210係調整傳輸之優先性(步驟525),且於步驟530中,源B節點210係調整傳輸之調變及編碼計劃(步驟530)。排程之較佳優先性係被給予已被否定之資料封包。若無線資源充足,則更完善調變及編碼計劃可被用來增加從無線傳輸/接收單元205至源B節點210之成功傳輸可能性。步驟535中,交接被完成於致動計時器終止時。
為使無線傳輸/接收單元205了解被排程上鏈傳輸係被預期用於具有先前傳輸失敗之資料封包,源B節點210上鏈排程器255可明定被排程上鏈傳輸係被預期用於先前被否定之資料封包。此可藉由包含混合自動重複要求處理識別於從源B節點210被傳送至無線傳輸/接收單元205之上鏈排程資訊。藉由接收來自源B節點210之排程資訊,無線傳輸/接收單元205知道被排程傳輸係用於與排程資訊一起被傳送之混合自動重複要求處理識別產生相關之特定資料。
雖然本發明已參考較佳實施例特別顯示及說明,但熟 練技術人士應了解只要不背離上述本發明範疇,均可作各種型式及細節之改變。

Claims (9)

  1. 系統方法,包含:一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU),包含:配置以傳送加強上鏈資料至使用軟交接的一主動組的複數胞元的一電路;其中該複數胞元的至少一第一胞元係為一主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一第二胞元不為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以從該主胞元接收第一排程資訊,並且不從該第二胞元接收該第一排程資訊;其中該第二胞元不傳送該第一排程資訊;其中該電路更配置以從該主胞元接收混合自動重複要求(HARQ)認可(ACK)以及HARQ否定(NACK),並且不從該第二胞元接收該HARQ NACK;其中該第二胞元不傳送該-HARQ NACK;以及一B節點,包含:配置以從在一第一胞元中的一第一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)接收加強上鏈資料的一電路;其中該第一WTRU在軟交接中,並且傳送該加強上鏈資料至一主動組的複數胞元;其中該第一胞元係為主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一第二胞元不為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以傳送第一排程資訊至使用該第一胞元的該第一WTRU;其中該電路更配置以傳送混合自動重複要求(HARQ)認可(ACK)以及否定(NACK)至使用該第一胞元的該第一WTRU;其中該電路更配置以從在該第一胞元中的一第二WTRU接收該加強上鏈資料;其中該第二WTRU在軟交接中,並且傳送該加強上鏈資料至該主動組的該複數胞元;其中該第一胞元不為該主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一 第三胞元為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以不傳送第一排程資訊至使用該第一胞元的該第二WTRU;其中該第二WTRU從該第三胞元接收第一排程資訊;以及其中該電路更配置以不傳送該HARQ NACK至使用該第一胞元的該第二WTRU;其中該第一WTRU從該第三胞元接收該HARQ ACK以及NACK。
  2. 一種積體電路(IC),包含配置以輸出加強上鏈資料至使用軟交接的一主動組的複數胞元的一電路;其中該複數胞元的至少一第一胞元係為一主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一第二胞元不為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以從該主胞元接收第一排程資訊,並且不從該第二胞元接收該第一排程資訊;其中該第二胞元不輸出該第一排程資訊;其中該電路更配置以從該主胞元接收混合自動重複要求(HARQ)認可(ACK)以及HARQ否定(NACK),並且不從該第二胞元接收該HARQ NACK;其中該第二胞元不傳送該HARQ NACK。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的IC,其中一無線網路控制器(RNC)指定該複數胞元的該第一胞元為該主胞元。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的IC,其中該加強上鏈資料傳輸包括一WTRU識別。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的IC,其中該電路更配置以使用同步HARQ傳輸輸出該加強上鏈資料。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的IC,其中該電路更配置以使加強上鏈資料傳輸被排程,以致於限制對該第二胞元的干擾。
  7. 一種積體電路(IC)包含:配置以從在一第一胞元中的一第一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)接收加強上鏈資料的一電路;其中該第一WTRU在軟交接中,並且傳送該加強上鏈資料至一主動組的複數胞元;其中該第一胞元係為一主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一第二胞元不為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以輸出第一排程資訊至使用該第一胞元的該第一WTRU;其中該電路更配置以輸出混合自動重複要求(HARQ)認可(ACK)以及否定(NACK)至使用該第一胞元的該第一WTRU;其中該電路更配置以從在該第一胞元中的一第二WTRU接收該加強上鏈資料;其中該第二WTRU在軟交接中,並且傳送該加強上鏈資料至該主動組的該複數胞元;其中該第一胞元不為該主胞元,並且該複數胞元的至少一第三胞元為該主胞元;其中該電路更配置以不輸出該第一排程資訊至使用該第一胞元的該第二WTRU;其中該第二WTRU從該第三胞元接收該第一排程資訊;以及其中該電路更配置以不輸出該HARQ NACK至使用該第一胞元的該第二WTRU;其中該第一WTRU從該第三胞元接收該HARQ ACK以及NACK。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述的IC,其中該電路更配置以從一 無線網路控制器(RNC)接收資訊,該RNC指定該第一胞元為該主胞元。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的IC,其中該加強上鏈資料傳輸包括一WTRU識別。
