201132301 六、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關一種附有濾嘴之香菸的濾嘴之包捲作 為最外層的外層紙(tip paper),以及具有該外層紙的附有濾 嘴之香於。 【先前技術】 附有濾嘴之香菸係使菸條與濾嘴緊密對齊,以外層紙 將濾嘴之外周面全部以及緊密對齊部附近的菸條之外周面 部包捲並使之一體化者。 在抽吸附有濾嘴之香菸時,如唾液附著在外層紙、或 牙齒與嘴唇對外層紙造成摩擦時,位於濾嘴端部之外層紙 表面部分在受捻狀態下剝離,發生所謂的紙層剝離。 一直以來,為了避免上述外層紙之問題,一般係施行 賦予耐水性之技術。而此技術係在含紙衆之底織物表面以 印刷塗佈而形成疏水性塗劑(含有作為疏水性物質之确化 纖維)層之方法。如此技術可因應疏水性塗劑層之基重而發 揮一定的耐水效果。然而,僅形成有以硝化纖維之基重 (basis weight)計為0.8gsm左右之疏水性塗劑層的外層紙之 而才水效果並不足。事實上,會因财水性不足而發生外層紙 的紙層剝離。 因此,僅形成以往之一般技術的簡易之疏水性塗劑 層,作為外層紙所需耐水性之機能並不足,由耐水性之觀 點而言,進而尋求高品質之外層紙。 基於上述情況,在日本特開平7-316996號公報中揭 3 321929 201132301 示一種菸條捲紙,係在原紙製造時,添加如烷基烯酮二聚 物(AKD)之上衆劑(sizing agent),再於添加有上漿劑之底織 物表面塗佈上述上漿劑而經更提高表面上漿度(sizing degree)並賦予耐水性。然而,上漿劑之效果僅為延緩水對 底織物的滲透,而非為本質上強化底織物之紙漿纖維間的 結合強度者,僅不過與以往一般技術之疏水性物質層的形 成之機能相同。因此,即使將如此捲紙適用於外層紙,耐 水性效果依然不足。而且,上述捲紙對外層紙之適用係, 外層紙之極端的上漿度之增加會明顯地損及在附有濾嘴之 香菸之製造時的上漿適性。 在曰本特開2000-64192號公報中揭示一種多孔性塞 包裝紙,係將濾嘴直接包覆之多孔性濾嘴包裝紙,其中, 加入實質上含有烷基烯酮二聚物之濕潤強度強化劑,且塗 佈含有聚乙烯醇之上漿組成物而增大濕潤抗張強度。惟多 孔性濾嘴包裝紙與菸條和濾嘴經一體化之外層紙不同,如 將上述上漿組成物之塗佈適用於外層紙表面,在附有濾嘴 之香菸之製造時,將明顯地損及上漿適性。 【發明内容】 本發明之目的係提供一種外層紙以及具有該外層紙 之高品質的附有濾嘴之香菸,上述外層紙係在使用於附有 濾嘴之香菸時呈現優異的耐水性,可有效地抑制甚至防止 吸菸時之唾液的附著、或因牙齒與嘴唇之摩擦所引起的紙 層剝離,且印墨之固定性優異者。 本發明之第1態樣提供一種外層紙,係含有紙漿與作 4 321929 201132301 為填料之碳酸鈣,相對於上述紙漿以及上述碳酸鈣之總基 重,上述碳酸鈣量至少有ίο重量%,並且進一步在含有濕 潤紙力增強劑(strengthening agent for wet paper)之底織物 表面形成疏水性塗劑層者。 本發明之第2態樣提供一種附有濾嘴之香菸,係具有 上述外層紙者。 【實施方式】 [用以實施發明之型態] 以下,詳細說明本發明之實施形態的外層紙及附有濾 嘴之香菸。 實施形態之外層紙係含有紙漿與作為填料之碳酸 鈣,相對於上述紙漿以及上述碳酸鈣之總基重,上述碳酸 鈣量至少有10重量%,並且進一步在含有濕潤紙力增強劑 之底織物表面形成疏水性塗劑層者。此處之π底織物表面” 係指在適用於附有濾嘴之香菸時,為與在包捲菸條之一部 分以及整個濾嘴時鄰接該等之面相反側之面的全部。 成為5式驗樣品1的2倍之試驗樣品2,其濕潤耐摩擦次數 遠超出僅濕潤紙力增強劑的含有之比較例3與僅有疏水性 塗劑層的形成(硝化纖維基重:2倍)之比較例4的濕潤耐摩 擦次數之總和(預測),確認對外層紙之紙層剝離的耐水效 果同樣地為加乘地增幅。 (4)由濕潤紙力增強劑的添加與疏水性塗劑層的塗佈之組 合而得之加乘效應的理論性考察 為了理論性考察加乘效應而分別準備:相對於紙漿量 含有1.0重量%之濕潤紙力增強劑(PAE)的尺寸15mmx 2G〇mm之外層紙(比較樣品1)、形成以硝化纖維基重計為 的疏水性塗劑層的相同尺寸(i5mmx200mm)之外層 乾(比較樣品2)、以及相對於紙漿量含有1.〇重量%之濕潤 纟氏力增強劑(PAE)且形成以硝化纖維基重計為〇.4gsm的疏 水性塗劑層的相同尺寸之外層紙(試驗樣品1)後,施行更高 9 321929 201132301 由此,本發明者等藉由使作為填料之碳酸鈣,相對於 紙漿以及碳酸鈣之總基重至少含有10重量%者,即可改善 印墨之固定性。 因此,如依實施形態,因藉由組合上述之濕潤紙力增 強劑的含有與疏水性塗劑層的形成而得之加乘效應以及藉 由含有作為填料之碳酸鈣,而在使用在附有濾嘴之香菸時 顯示優異之耐水性,可有效地抑制甚至防止吸菸時之唾液 的附著、或因牙齒與嘴唇之摩擦所引起的紙層剝離,更且 能以含有上述碳酸鈣而補償因濕潤紙力增強劑的添加所引 起的印墨固定性之低下,而得到改善印墨固定性之外層紙。 另外,實施形態之外層紙係依上述優異之耐水性而使 用在附有濾嘴之香菸時,可確認位於濾嘴前端之處的破 損;在開孔部位的破損、斷裂;在菸條與濾嘴交界之黑線 的破損、斷裂;防止外層紙附著於嘴唇(提高離唇機能)。 底織物中所含的紙漿只要為一般外層紙所使用者而 可為任意之物,其例可列舉如:分類為L材(闊葉樹)、N 材(針葉樹)之木材紙漿;蔗渣、亞麻、麻等非木材紙漿; 單純地將木材碾磨而得之機械紙漿;經化學處理抽出而得 12 321929 201132301 之化學紙漿。 作為底織物中所含的填料之碳酸鈣,相對於紙漿以及 碳酸:i弓之總基重,至少含有10重量%。碳酸4弓之含量未達 • 10重量%時,難以謀求外層紙之印墨固定性改善。較佳者 係相對於紙漿以及碳酸鈣之總基重,碳酸鈣之含量在10 重量%以上30重量%以下,以20重量%以上30重量%以 下為佳。另外,作為底織物中之填料的氧化鈦,相對於紙 漿、碳酸鈣以及氧化鈦之總基重,以含有20重量%以下者 為容許範圍。 1 底織物中所含的濕潤紙力增強劑,只要為具有濕潤紙 力機能者而可為任意之物,.其例可列舉如:聚醯胺-表氯醇 (PAE)、聚乙亞胺、環氧化聚驢胺、聚丙烯醯胺。特另以聚 醯胺-表氯醇為佳。 相對於底織物中所含的紙漿,期望濕潤紙力增強劑之 含量為2.0重量%以下,以0.5重量%以上2.0重量%以下 為佳,更以0.8重量%以上1.2重量%以下為最佳。 疏水性塗劑係以含有作為疏水性物質的硝化纖維(NC) 者為佳。尤其是,疏水性塗劑除了 NC之外,宜含有塑化 劑以及樹脂成分。例如:疏水性塗劑宜為含有NC以及適 於凹版印刷之顏料的有色之疏水性印墨。
