Abstract
The disclosed electrode catheter is provided with a catheter tube (11), a control handle, a tip connection member (12) and catheter tips (31-34). The tip connection member (12) is configured by integrating a tip holding part (122), in which are formed holding holes (131-134) that open at the convex surface of the tip and extend in the axial direction, and a cylindrical part, in which is formed an inner hole (135) that communicates with the holding holes in the axial direction. The bases of the catheter tips (31-34) are, while inserted into the holding holes (131-134), thermally fused to the tip holding part (122) of the tip connection member (12), and the cylindrical part (121) of the tip connection member (12) is, while inserted into the inner hole of the catheter tube (11), thermally fused to the catheter tube (11). Using this electrode catheter, a catheter tip of the appropriate shape (position) is firmly connected to the catheter tube and there is also little variation in the connection strength of each product.
