Abstract

A plate for wiring device, which is detachably attached to the front surface of an attachment frame which supports a wiring device, includes a plate body made of synthetic resin material in a substantially rectangular frame shape, and a decoration plate made of material harder than the synthetic resin material, the decoration plate being adhesively adhered to the front surface of the plate body to cover at least a part of the front surface of the plate body. The plate body includes projection pieces projecting backwardly, each of the projection pieces having a locking claw at a leading end thereof, and slots respectively formed in portions around roots of the projection pieces, the slots corresponding to the respective locking claws in a forward/backward direction. The projection pieces are respectively engaged with engagement holes provided in the attachment frame from the front side, and the locking claws are adapted to be engaged with and released from a peripheral edge of the engagement hole at the rear side of the attachment frame.
