Abstract
The present invention provides a discharge lamp without generating slit on a soldering section composing a substrate section and a cover section of an electrode, wherein breakage may not generate on the electrode when lamping, thereby heat carriers in the electrode may not be oxidized, heat conduction effect may be faithfully exerted and temperature rise at front end of an anode may be restrained. The discharge lamp (11) has a pair of electrodes (13, 15) arranged oppositely, the electrode (13) are composed of a substrate (130) and a cover section (131), and have a circular soldering section (P) soldering along periphery direction in condition of contacting the substrate (130) and the cover (131), a heat conduction body (M) is embedded in closing space of the electrode (13), and gas through holes (133) are provided on the cover section (131), a fusing sealing section (Q) is provided on the front opening of the through holes (133), and the shortest distance between the soldering section (P) and the fusing sealing section (Q) in the electrode is more than 8mm.
