Abstract
The present invention relates to a field emission display. The field emission display includes a transparent plate, a number of supporters, an insulated substrate opposite to the transparent plate, a number of row electrodes, a number of column electrodes disposed on the insulated substrate, and a number of pixel unites. The row electrodes and column electrodes are parallel to each another and spaced from each other for a certain distance. Every two adjacent row electrodes and every two adjacent column electrodes form a grid. The pixel units are disposed on the insulated substrate. Each of the pixel unit is corresponding to one grid. The pixel unit includes a phosphor layer, a cathode electrode, an anode electrode, and an emitter. The cathode electrode and anode electrode are spaced from and insulated to each other. The cathode electrode is electrically connected to the corresponding row electrodes and the anode electrode is electrically connected to the corresponding column electrodes. One end of the emitter is electrically connected to the corresponding cathode electrode. The phosphor layer is disposed on a surface of the anode electrode.
