200813488 九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關聚光片’尤其是有關用以液晶顯示器(Lcj), Liquid Crystal Display)之背光系統或其它需要的擴散聚 光片者。 【先前技術】 請參閱圖1所示。一般液晶顯示器之背光系統,包括冷陰 極燈管(CCFL)ll、導光板(LGP)12、下擴散片(Bott〇m diffuser)13、聚光片(Prism sheet)14、上擴散片(τ〇ρ diffuser)15 及反射板(Reflector)16 所組成。 請參閱圖2所示。習知聚光片14係由複數個縱向平行排 列的三角形之稜鏡柱(Prism rod)141及基材(Substrate)U2 所組成。棱鏡柱141結合於基材142的一侧邊。每一菱鏡柱 141的高度、寬度相同,且棱鏡柱141的稜線高度不變,走向 為直線,棱線兩侧的斜面相對稱。 請參閱圖3、4所示。聚光片14之光學路徑模式有三種: 1. 全反射回收(TRI Recycle): 光線143由棱鏡柱141内約在垂直棱鏡柱141底面之虛擬 垂直軸140的± 4内射入時,受稜鏡斜面柱141的全反射現 象之影響,經兩次全反射後,回收至背後光源方向,繼續擴散 傳播利用; 2. 二次折射回收(2nd Reflection Recycle): 200813488 光線144經由兩組稜鏡柱141的折射後,再回收至背後 光源方向,繼續擴散傳播利用;及 3·直接折射(Directed Reflective): 光線145經由稜鏡柱141的斜面折射出,此光路模式有集 中光線之作用;如圖3中所示,由稜鏡柱141的視角80。範 圍内折射出的光線才有利用價值。 習知聚光片14的色度X值及色度γ值分別對應於視角的 變化值,分別如圖4中的虛線曲線及實線曲線所示者,由虛線 曲線及實線曲線上、下變化幅度較大的數值,顯示習知聚光片 14的光色散現象較明顯,且容易發生疊紋的現象。 有多種具有光擴散層的聚光片,例如美國專利第 5,844,720號揭示的聚光片(!¥1測油沈1:),其一面具有複數 縱向接近平行排列的三角形稜鏡柱,其另一面具有粗糙面,可 避免折射絲時產生干涉倾,及防止嶋,並使折射出聚光 片的亮度均一,有利於供液晶顯示器之使用;台灣專利第 M293442號揭示的聚光片,包含—紐,該基材之—側包含一 個具有凹或凸粗Μ結構之光擴散層,其巾該光擴散層具有 5/0 9(U之擴政度,第Μ277950號揭示的聚光片,包括一基體, 該基趙之下表面為人絲,⑽減絲,該細之上表面為 與該入光面相對設置之出光面;該基體内部具有散射粒子;及 台灣專利公告第415355號所揭的擴散聚光片,該擴散聚光片 6 200813488 主要包含-基片及-細微半圓球層。該細微半圓球層灌模形成 而未固化時;將該基片黏貼於該細微半圓球層以形成一擴散聚 光片。而該擴散聚光片之上表面具有數個細微半圓球,而該擴 散聚光片之底表面則具有一光滑面。 、 上述各種具有光擴散層的聚光#,续使製作完成的聚光 片進步於其底部再加工製作粗輪面層,較為費王時。且聚光 片具有複數平行的稜餘的-峨為紐,若有雜時較容 # 易被發現,而被認定為瑕疵品。 【發明内容】 為了使具有光擴散結構的聚光片較容易被製作,而提出 本發明。 本發明的主要目的,在提供一種擴散聚光片,容易製作 聚光片的擴散結構,節省製造成本。 本發明的另一目的,在提供一種擴散聚光片,可有效減 • 少稜鏡柱的光色散現象及疊紋發生的機率,及有助於提升生 產良率。 本發明的擴散聚光片,係用以減少稜鏡柱的光色散現象 及疊紋發生的機率,及有助於提升生產良率者,包括一基材, 可供光線穿射通過;該基材的一表面包含有複數縱向排列的 長條狀稜鏡柱及複數長條狀粗糙的擴散面;至少有兩相鄰的 該棱鏡柱之間具有該長條狀粗糖的擴散面,可有效減少光之 色散現象及霧化稜鏡柱的條紋,並減少疊紋發生的機會,且 7 200813488 可增加擴散聚光片的生產良率;又基材、複數縱向排列的長 條狀棱鏡柱及長條狀粗糙的擴散面可為一體成型者,因此較 容易被製作。 本發明的其他目的、功效,請參閱圖式及實施例,詳細 說明如下。 【實施方式】 請參閱圖5、6、7所示。本發明擴散聚光片,係用以減 _ 少稜鏡柱的光色散現象及疊紋發生的機率,及有助於提升生 產良率者。本發明的實施例之擴散聚光片3〇,包括:一基材 31 ,可供光線穿射通過。基材31的一表面包含有複數縱向排 列的長條狀稜鏡柱32及複數長條狀粗糖的擴散面33;至少有 兩相鄰的稜鏡柱32之間具有長條狀粗糙的擴散面33;每一稜 鏡柱32分別具有棱線321及第一侧面322及第二侧面323 ; 稜線321置於棱鏡柱32的最高位置;第一、二側面322、323 分別由稜線321的兩側延伸至擴散面33或基板31的表面; # 但最外側的第一、二侧面322、323分別延伸至基板31的表 面。擴散面33散面之寬度約佔稜鏡柱底面寬度之3%至5〇%之 間。 本發明的擴散聚光30,藉由介於兩稜鏡柱%之間的擴 散面33餘出之光線331混合稜鏡柱32射出的光線324,如 圖6所示,可有效減少光之色散現象及霧化棱鏡柱犯的條 紋,並減少疊紋發生的機會;且由兩娜的稜鏡柱32之間具 有長餘粗_擴散面33,擴散聚光片3〇整體外表並非呈現 8 200813488 完全的光滑面,即使第一、二側面322、323具有少許缺陷, 亦不容易被發現,而被認為是瑕疵品,因此可增加擴散聚光 片30的生產良率。 本發明擴散聚光片的色度X值及色度γ值分別對應於視 角的變化值,分別如圖7中的虛線曲線及實線曲線所示者, 由虛線曲線及實線曲線上、下變化幅度小於圖4中所示者, 顯示本發明擴散聚光片較習知聚光片的光色散現象較不明 顯,且較不容易發生疊紋的現象。 本發明的擴散聚光片,係使兩相鄰的棱鏡柱之間具有長 條狀粗糙的擴散面,利用介於兩棱鏡柱之間的擴散面擴散出 之光線混合稜鏡柱射出的光線,可有效減少光之色散現象及 霧化稜鏡柱的條紋,並減少疊紋發生的機會,且可增加擴散 聚光片的生產良率;又基材、複數縱向排列的長條狀稜鏡柱 及長條狀粗縫的擴散面可為一體成型者,因此較容易被製作。 以上所記載,僅為利用本發明技術内容之實施例,任何熟 悉本項技藝者運用本發明所為之修飾、變化,皆屬本發明主張 之專利範圍’而不限於實施例所揭示者。 200813488 【圖式簡單說明】 圖1為已知顯示器的背光系統示意圖。 圖2為已知聚光片的示意圖。 圖3為本已知聚光片的各種光線折射模式的示意圖 圖4為習知聚光片的色度對視角的分佈圖。 圖5為本發明擴散聚光片實施例的示意圖。 圖6為本發明擴散聚光片光線擴散的示意圖。BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
