Abstract
To achieve these and other advantages and in order to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional method in accordance with the purpose of the invention as embodied and broadly described herein, the present invention provides a hybrid frame rate control method used in liquid crystal display panels, which can increase the color depth by 4 bits, and can support panels of at least 4-bit color depth. At the same time of enhancing the color depth, the production cost can also be greatly reduced, and the degree of flickering will become minimized.
