Abstract

The present invention provides a nipping-type false-twister capable of texturing a wide range of filament yarns including thin to thick ones, and also capable of suppressing fluffings in the above range. The nipping-type false-twister 104 is such that respective endless belts 12 wrapped on a pair of pulleys 10 and 11 are disposed so as to be crossed each other with filament yarn nipped at the cross-point; wherein the two endless belts 12 are wrapped in parallel to each other on the pair of pulleys 10 and 11, and the surface of each of the belts 12 is provided with grooves 12a extending in the belt's longitudinal direction and divided by these grooves 12a.
