Abstract

To provide a slide mechanism for a mobile unit that can be thinned and to provide a mobile phone provided with the slide mechanism of the mobile unit. A slide mechanism for a mobile unit comprises: a base member 2 attached to a first housing; a slider 3 engaged so as to slide with respect to said base member 2 and attached to a second housing; and a flat energizing means 4 which is provided between the slider 3 and the base member 2, of which one end is linked to the base member 2 and another end is linked to the slider 3, and which is distorted against energizing power in the direction of width of the first housing or the second housing, slides and energizes the slider 3 with said energizing power in a closing direction or an opening direction from a predetermined opening/closing position. Said flat energizing means 4 is formed widely in the direction of width of the first housing or the second housing and the energizing power in said direction of width is strengthened.
