Abstract
A storage apparatus with an IEEE1394 interface includes a connector, a controller connected to the connector, a singlechip connected to the controller, and a flash chip connected to the singlechip. When the storage apparatus reads first signals, the singlechip converts the first signals to second signals identified by the flash chip. The second signals are stored in the flash chip. When the storage apparatus writes the first signals, the singlechip converts the second signals to the first signals. The connector outputs the first signals through the controller. The storage apparatus meets with an IEEE1394 interface standard.
