Abstract

The invention is related to a process for a capillary structure in the heat pipe. A polar rod is put in the heat pipe so that an electric circuit can be formed between them. An electrolyte with metallic ions is put between the polar rod and heat pipe. An electrochemical reaction will occur on the polar rod and heat pipe through an external current. A metallic reactant will be produced and adhered to the inner surface of the heat pipe; the capillary structure is thus formed. By executing this, the capillary structure adhered to the surface will increase and the effect of condensation or evaporation enhance.
