Abstract

This invention relates to a vise with force intensifying device and more particularly to a clamping force adjusting device having smaller impact force when the rotary propulsive shaft is retarded. The vise with force intensifying device comprises screw rod cooperating with a movable jaw; a force intensifying device disposed at one end of the screw rod; a rotary propulsive shaft adjacent to the force intensifying device; a hollow shaft capable of rotation but unable to move axially and supported to the main frame, one end of the hollow shaft can not rotate but can move axially relative to screw rod to cooperate with it and the other end of the hollow shaft cooperates with the thread on the rotary propulsive shaft and transmits rotation of the rotary propulsive shaft via clutch device. The clamping force adjusting device of the vise with force intensifying device comprises a protrusion on the screw rod, which is inserted into the hollow shaft, and a stopping ring, which cannot be rotated relative to the main frame when the rotation transmission of the clutch device is disengaged; and a rotary propulsive member which is disposed on the rotary propulsive shaft and protruded from the screw rod and can cooperate with the protrusion of the stopping ring.
