This invention is a method for the surface tension measurement of melting glasses at high temperature, especially is a method of creating a silhouette of a pendant drop of melting glass, of video-imaging the silhouette, of digitizing the image, of best-fitting the edge-coordinates with theoretical Young-Laplace equation in order to result a accurate surface tension of the melting glasses at high temperature.
