Abstract

A controlling circuit for over-clocking includes a processing unit, and a comparing unit. The processing unit translates a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal from a controlling chip representing work load of a CPU to a stable voltage signal. The comparing unit deals with the voltage signal and generates a controlling signal. The controlling signal is inputted into the controlling chip. According to the controlling signal, the controlling chip adjusts a frequency of the CPU through a clock generating circuit.
