Abstract

Provided is one kind of two stage metal smelting method which is suitable for smelting the alloy material containing a trace amount of added elements. Such a two stage metal smelting method comprises a step of vacuum refining a high purity master alloy by utilizing a smelting equipment, a step of refining the master alloy by utilizing the smelting equipment by adding a predetermined amount of added elements, and a step of dilution by adding the high purity master alloy into the master alloy for diluting the content of the added elements inside the master alloy. By controlling the added amount of the high purity master alloy to dilute its content, it is easy to control the content of the added elements in the alloy to obtain the desired content of the trace elements.
