Abstract

A wear monitoring method for a conveyor is disclosed. A wear threshold value is obtained first and an operating value for a specific convey stage and a predetermined location is measured by a vibration sensor. And then the operating value is compared with the wear threshold value to determine whether to stop and inspect the conveyor. When the operating value reaches up to or over the wear threshold value, an inspection is implemented.
