Abstract

To provide a geared stepping motor that saves on a space while achieving size reduction, and is suitable for the promotion of the size reduction of an apparatus that is scheduled to be assembled. Accurate rotational angle control becomes available without the need for utilizing a rotational angle sensor such as a photosensor by employing a steeping motor part 11. A space is saved while achieving the size reduction by placing the stepping motor part 11 and a planetary gear reduction part 31 in a box 30 in parallel with each other, and the size reduction of the mobile communication apparatus or the like is promoted. By connecting a first flat gear 50 arranged at a rotating shaft 16 of the stepping motor part 11 and a second gear 51 arranged at a rotating shaft 32a of the planetary gear reduction part 31 by a reduction two-stage flat gear 53, gear reduction also becomes available at a part other than the planetary gear reduction part 31. The number of reduction stages, or a reduction rate in the planetary gear reduction part is reduced, thus contributing to the size reduction.
