Abstract

The invention is to improve inspection accuracy in any case of a visual lighting inspection and an automatic lighting inspection though the visual lighting inspection and then automatic lighting inspection can be selectively performed. The lighting inspection device is a panel receiving device which receives a display panel and makes the panel to light up. The device comprises a casing and an inspection stage arranged in the casing and includes the panel receiving device which receives the display panel in the inspection stage, and a panel photographing device equipped with a video camera which picks up the display panel arranged on the inspection stage from upward. The casing has an opening through which the display panel received in the inspection stage can be viewed from a front side of the casing.
