Abstract

This invention relates to a method of destruxin purification which comprises adding the acetonitrile into fermentation broth in the ratio of 1:1 to produce a water phase; adding 5 % sodium chloride to separate the organic phase from water phase; depressing and concentrating 100 fold to remove most acetonitrile; and finally isolating the destruxin in high concentration from residual sodium chloride solution. Further, the destruxin crystal can be isolated by HPLC gradient seperation which the half-prepared chromatography column was used with the mobile phase of acetonitrile/water mixture for gradient. The DE, DC, DA, DB2 and DB destruxin having high purity can be purified by this method.
