Abstract

In a conventional constant current circuit which is manufactured by a CMOS process, a resistor element having a negative temperature characteristic inverse to that a normal resistor element has, such as a polysilicon resistor, is formed, making the output of the constant current circuit easy to be influenced by temperature change. In the present invention, a temperature compensation circuit composed of a transistor Q8 for allowing a current I2 having a negative temperature characteristic to flow and a resistor element R2 is provided in parallel with a circuit composed of a transistor Q1 for allowing a current I1 having a positive temperature characteristic to flow, a resistor element Rl and a bipolar transistor Q6, to obtain a constant current output which is a sum current I of I1 and I2, to thereby obtaining an output with less influence of temperature change.
